789January’s student of the month is awarded to sophomore, Cara Cannarozzi. Outside of the classroom, Cannarozzi is involved in marching band, cross country, indoor and outdoor track, Spanish club, and sign language club.
She has big goals and plans for her future. “I want to do well in school so I can get into a good college, get a good job with a good salary, and live a happy and successful life,” Cannarozzi said.
She has not decided where she wants to continue her education but she has decided to study computer engineering and sciences. As a sophomore taking AP classes, she tackles a challenging course load each day.
“I think that it’s important for students to take classes that challenge them and AP courses are a good way for some students to be challenged,” Cannarozzi said.
