Starting Monday, Jan. 30, the Fairmont High School library will offer students the chance to borrow laptop computers. The library has 22 laptops available for the loan program, which Library Media Specialist Jillian Kelsey said is an effort to make technology more available to students.
In order to borrow a laptop, a student must first pick up and fill out a form from the library. Once that is completed, a student can borrow a laptop for 24 hours; laptops must be returned on time in order to have the privilege of borrowing again. If the laptop is damaged at any time, the fine is $100.
