The Girls’ Varsity Soccer team wrapped up their season with 4 wins, 9 losses, and 3 ties this fall.

Although this wasn’t the best record for them, many of the girls look at soccer as much more than just a game. “I couldn’t have been more proud of my girls. They played their hearts out and we will always be family for life,” said senior player Tasha Wilson.

Several girls earned GWOC and area awards: GWOC All Division 1st Team: Tasha Wilson; GWOC All Division 2nd Team: junior Justine Miller; GWOC All Division Honorable Mention: junior Jessica Gould and freshman Harper Luczka; All Area-South 1st Team: Tasha Wilson: All Area-South 2nd Team: Justine Miller; All Area-South 3rd Team: Jessica Gould and Harper Luczka; and the Fitness Award: sophomore Bailey Kunst, freshman Sarah Grossman, Harper Luczka, Justine Miller, sophomore Emily Pacenta and sophomore Hannah Rouse.

The awards banquet took place on Nov 9. The team awards were: Most Improved: senior Kristy Beck: Sportsmanship: Emily Pacenta; Coaches Award: sophomore Kaitlyn Williams; MVP: Tasha Wilson; Iron Woman Award: Tasha Wilson; and the Scholar Athlete Award: senior Jamie Bellini.
