Fill your Thursdays with sunshine

It’s Thursday night at around 10 o’clock and you want to watch some television. If you are looking for some good wholesome family comedy, then steer away from FX. That’s when you can watch “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” one of the best dark-humored sitcoms to be broadcasted.

Again, this show is not for the easily offended. The gang of Mac, Charlie, Dennis, Frank and Sweet Dee mock some of the most important issues of our culture in a very funny fashion. Past episodes include “The Gang Gets Taken Hostage,” “Dennis and Dee go on Welfare,” and “Underage Drinking: A National Concern.”

The show is rated TV-MA, so if you are under 17, you will need parental approval. But if you have an offbeat sense of humor and some time to kill on a Thursday night, you should check it out.
