Honor Flight Dayton hosting raffle for Spirit Chain

By Dakota Miller, Staff Writer

Honor Flight Dayton, one of this year’s Spirit Chain charities, is holding a raffle through the 2012 Spirit Week to win an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. to see the war memorials with the veterans of those wars. Students ages 16 and over may buy a ticket for $2 throughout Spirit Week at lunch by the Activities Office. The winners will be drawn at the end of the week.

The winners of the raffle will depart from the Dayton airport to Washington, D.C. and return the same day. Students must be at least 16 years old, willing to be on their feet all day and have no disciplinary trouble at school. The flight will be on a Saturday in April, with the exact date to be announced.

Students who wish to go on the trip and have a guaranteed spot can make a donation of $275 to Honor Flight Dayton.
