“Show us your shorts” says the slogan for the new 12th Annual Writer’s Digest Short Short Story Competition. Writer’s Digest is searching for short fiction stories of 1,500 words or fewer that have a chance to be published in their July/August 2012 issue. The winner will also win a trip to the 2012 Writer’s Digest Conference and receive $3,000 in spending money. The deadline for this competition is Nov. 15, 2011. The contest can be entered online at www.writersdigest.com/short.
