For the past 10 years, the world has been undefended by Tommy Lee Jones’ Agent K and Will Smith’s Agent J. With the brand new Men in Black 3, however, Earth’s favorite black-suit-wearing alien police are back.

This time around, the agents are chasing down Boris the Animal, played by Jemaine Clement, who escapes from the LunarMax Prison on the moon. The evil alien soon manages to jump back in time, followed by J. I don’t want to give away any spoilers about the film, but let’s just say that it’s well worth watching.

Personally, the movie is a return to my childhood, when I watched the first Men in Black movies. Perhaps the most exciting part of this new film was seeing that Agents J and K are still at the top of their game and ready to kick some alien butt when they need to. The story-line on this film is fascinating and keeps a certain allure that the first two movies also had. It’s hard to look away from the screen.

I’m exceptionally fond of the acting done by Clement, as he plays both a present-day and 1960’s version of Boris, at times holding a conversation with himself. I’ve never done that, but I can say it’s probably pretty tough to do, so I am happy to see that Clement did so well with his performance. The performance of actor Josh Brolin as a 1960’s version of Agent K is absolutely spot on as well, easily capturing the nuances of Tommy Lee Jones’ Agent K to a “T.”

Furthermore, I like this movie simply because I like the entire MiB series, from the first episode to today’s battle for Earth.

All things considered, this may not be the absolute best movie on the market right now, but it is certainly worth the watch. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone interested in sci-fi, or who is a fan of the MiB series in general.
