The NFL is wrapping up week 3 of competition, allowing fans and analysts to chime in on what they are seeing so far.

As we wrap-up week 3 of the NFL, there are many questions surrounding a lot of teams. This offseason has been crazy for many organizations, especially for the Minnesota Vikings and their quarterback position. I had my mind set on the Minnesota Vikings winning the NFC championship this year instead of teams like the Seahawks or Cardinals … but then the breaking news of Teddy Bridgewater tearing his ACL in non contact practice definitely changed my decision.

I still think they have a chance of winning the NFC championship. An offseason pickup of QB Sam Bradford will definitely be better than Shaun Hill, a washed up quarterback. Now don’t get me wrong, the Vikings still have talent at the wide receiver spot like Stefon Diggs, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Laquon Treadwell; however, If they don’t have a decent quarterback to throw to them they can’t be used to their full potential. They still have a chance of winning because they have a running back that averaged almost 100 yards a game and had 1,485 yards in total last season, but it will be a challenge.

And the big question that every Bengals fan is asking is “Will the Bengals win a playoff game?” Unfortunately for you bengals fans, THEY WON’T EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. The Bengals have lost many valuable assets such as wide receiver Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones, and defensive backs Leon Hall and Reggie Nelson. Since 2014, Nelson lead the NFL in interceptions.Their only elite threat on offense is A.J Green and Tyler Eifert when he comes back. I predict the Cincinnati Bengals will have a record of 7 wins and 9 losses.

One team that everyone is sleeping on this year is the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars have potential in every single position. I have very high expectations quarterback Blake Bortles because of the offensive weapons he has around him like Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns. A healthy and fast Dante Fowler Jr coming of the edge is scary for many quarterbacks.

This offseason they have added another weapon in the running back position that goes by the name of Chris Ivory. Ivory had a great 2015-16 season, averaging 71.3 yards per game and surpassing 1000 total yards. He did all of that with an average offensive line. Now that he has a better line, I think he will be a nightmare for defenses.

When choosing who will win the MVP this season, many fans think of names like Aaron Rodgers, Cam Newton, or Russell Wilson. Personally, I want to change it up a bit and go with Antonio Brown. That means a wide receiver will earn this accolade for the first time ever. Brown has the speed, the route running, the hands, and the strength to win an MVP award.

Choosing a defensive player of the year is tough. It’s probably a toss up between Khalil Mack and JJ Watt because of their complete dominance on the field. At the end of the season, I think Watt will pull it out … if he stays healthy.

Overall, I think this season is going to be thrilling and unpredictable because some teams will struggle after losing their players to retirement and season ending injury but others will thrive off their rookie draft picks and free agent pickups. I like that this year every team has enough talent to compete with elite level teams.
