Kendig sets scoring record in Diving Team’s first meet

On Dec. 4, the Fairmont Diving Team had its first meet against Miamisburg and Beavercreek. In the boys’ competition, sophomore Zach Kendig took first place and broke the school record with a score of 222.5. The previous school record was held by Doug Ray in the 1980s.

Senior Josh Schnipke took second place and sophomore Bradly Fugate took fourth place.

In the girls’ competition, sophomore Lily Knopp took second place with a career high score, junior Aubrey Higgins took third, and junior Julianne Enwright took fourth place.
