The Fairmont Boys’ Basketball team ended their season with a 7-14 record. Senior Jordan Glaser said the team didn’t finish with the record they wanted, but they gained other things this season.

“We may not have had the best season, but this year we grew as a family,” he said. “We worked hard and we can take our hard-work ethics we learned in high school and use it in the future in sports and in life.”

Glaser received a GWOC All-Conference Special Mention. At the team’s awards banquet on March 8, 2012, the following awards were given to the players: MVP: senior Jordan Glaser; Coaches Award: senior Jacob Nelson; Sportsmanship Award: senior Jay Sosebee; and Most Improved: sophomore Grant Powers.
