Stache Bash set for Oct. 30
It’s October, and you know what that means – it’s mustache season. This is not a joke. Every year, the AMI, or American Mustache Institute, holds an award show. The prize at the annual “Stache Bash” is the “Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year Award.”
Voting has closed for this year, but you can still check to see who walked away with the hardware. The winner will be announced on Oct. 30.
This year’s bash will be hosted by John Oates. There are over 100 nominees, but a few of the eighteen finalists are: St. Louis shortstop Brendan Ryan, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, and the mayor of Murray City, Utah.

Rudolph, the red-nosed clown deer?
Imagine waking up and getting that cup of coffee and then heading for the mail — only to find a dead deer dressed in a clown suit on your porch.
It may be hard to imagine, but such was the case for a family in Sioux City, Iowa.
Police suspect it was a prank since Halloween is approaching. However, it seems not everyone thought it was funny and officers referred to it as “immature and illegal.”
The deer has since been disposed of and, as of now, there is no investigation.
