Seniors Alex Gentry, Andrew Slusher and Katherine Ygbuhay were named National Merit Commended Scholars in late September. This means the students placed in the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million U.S. high school students who took the PSAT/NMSQT test last year. The students received letters for their academic achievement.
