		<description><![CDATA[Last weekend, Fairmont’s Winter Percussion Ensemble competed in their first Mid East Performance Association Competition at Miamisburg. The Ensemble took 2nd place overall.
Their show is titled “Break,” and the group is led by James Sparling.

		<description><![CDATA[Starting Feb. 8, 2012, members of the Aerie literary magazine class will be selling carnations for $1 apiece during lunch and before school. The sale will continue through Feb. 14.
Along with the carnations, Aerie also will be selling candy for $2, and the candy can be  delivered to the advisory of your choosing on Valentine&#8217;s Day.
