The Firebirds beat Miamisburg, 53-6, at Roush Stadium on Sept. 4, 2009. Fairmont racked up 493 total yards, with 368 coming on the ground. Sophomore quarterback Nick Bower rushed for 102 yards and had 2 TD passes. Cody Smith and Gary Leonard had interceptions for the Firebirds.
